E. of Amiternum by Simelli in 1809, and referred by him to the Fines Sabinorum on the strength of the forged inscription C.I.L. ix. 400,* may be connected with the original course of the Via Caecilia, which would in this case have run somewhat S. of Amiternum without touching it.
