On p. 611 of Continuing Commentary by Martin Davis [BBS 16(3) 1993] on Roger Penrose's “Précis of The emperor's new mind: Concerning computers, minds, and the laws of physics” [BBS 13(4) 1990] the author neglected to note that the quotation from Gödel in the cited book by Rudy Rucker had originally been obtained by Rucker from Hao Wang's (1974) From mathematics to philosophy, Routledge & Kegan Paul; Humanities Press, p. 324.
