Hydisos in Caria

Abstract

This paper offers a revised text and date for I.Priene 52, a fragmentary inscription of five surviving lines recording a decree of an unidentified community for a foreign court from Priene. A new identification for the provenance of the decree is suggested and its context briefly considered.

Bu çalışma I. Priene 52 için metin ve tarihleme düzeltmesi sunmaktadır. Parça halinde muhafaza edilmiş beş satırdan oluşan yazıt, yabancı bir mahkeme için tanımı yapılmamış bir toplumun çıkarmış, olduğu kararı içermekte ve kararın kaynağının yeni bir tanımı öne sürülerek içeriğine kısaca değinilmektedir.
