Summary
In the introductory chapter, I talked quite a bit about persuasion, radicalization, and how the two might connect. To better understand (1) where these concepts meet, and (2) how our understanding of the former informs our methods for dealing with the latter, I’m afraid we need to do a few academic chores. Most importantly, we need to conceptualize the topics that serve as the foundation of the book.
