Summary
Clearly, in keeping with our definition, social entrepreneurs can without a doubt be considered as leaders, although leaders of a new sort. Moreover, as Dees (1998) articulated, there is also no doubt that society has a pressing need for different leadership types and styles. We will try to identify the kind of leadership represented by most social entrepreneurs and see how it relates to other kinds of leadership.
Defining leadership
There has been an explosion of literature about leadership (McNamara, 2010). Indeed, a search for the word “leadership” on Google results in 116 million entries.
