[Robert Furse's opening for the whole book. The remainder of the page contains incomplete and damaged notes inside the front cover, including a quantity of numbers of no obvious meaning. The following relate to John Furse's children.]

Elizabeth Furse was boren the 19 of March & cristned the 24th day of March Anno 1604 & the on Mayde that was boren to sune

Robert Furse was borne the 14th day of September and Crystened the 21st of Sep tember in Anno 1606

Mary Furse daughter of John Furse was borne the tenth day of December & was baptized the Twenty ninth day 1686 … … … … … … … … … died [torn]

Elizabeth Furse daughter of John Furse was borne the two and twentieth of January & baptize[d] the twentieth of February 1688.

[New hand]

Elizabeth Furse sole daughter and heir of John Furse Esq. married John Worth of Worth Esq. in Devon June 11th 1705 and had [torn] by him in Jany 1713/14 six children, one son dead, viz:

Mary Worth, John Worth, Elizabeth, Reginald (dyed), Henry, Bridgett, Bamfylde.
