Dictis die & anno venit hic Johanna que fuit uxor Willelmi Boton, nuper civis & aurifabri London’, una executrix testamenti predicti Willelmi Boton, & probare fecit testamentum ejusdem Willelmi per Johannem Wethiale & Johannem Adys, testes juratos, & diligenter examinat’ quo ad articulos laicum feodum tangentes, qui dixerunt super sacramentum suum quod presentes fuerunt ubi dictus Willelmus Boton suum condidit testamentum in hunc modum: In dei nomine, Amen. Quintodecimo die mensis Augusti anno domini millesimo CCCC° tricesimo primo & anno regni regis Henrici sexti post conquestum nono [15 August 1431], Ego, Willelmus Boton, civis & aurifaber London, sanus mente & in bona memoria existens, condo, facio, & ordino presens testamentum meum ultime mee voluntatis in hunc modum: In primis lego & recommendo animam meam deo omnipotenti, creatori meo, beateque Marie matri ejus, & omnibus sanctis, corpusque meum ad sepeliendum in ecclesia Sancti Vedasti London’ secundum disposicion’ executorum meorum &c.
