This will be addressed from the perspective of the practitioner, the teacher of library students, and the policymaker. Includes workshops on librarian skills, matching the work offers of libraries with the demands of librarians, and the knowledge gap.

Teaching the Teachers Conference

The 2024 Teaching the Teachers conference will focus on evidence-based instructional strategies and instructional design. Taught by law librarians for law librarians, this program will be a hands-on learning opportunity where participants will leverage their collective teaching experience to enhance their work in the legal research classroom and revise/prepare materials for teaching with guidance from experts. 112th BiblioCon 2024

The annual Convention of German Librarians BiblioCon (Deutscher Bibliothekartag) is Germany's most important forum for continuing qualification in the library and information sector. It is also the largest convention for librarians and information professionals in Europe. The BiblioCon is jointly organized by VDB and BIB (Berufsverband Information Bibliothek).

ASIL Abroad Inaugural Meeting

As roughly 40% of ASIL's membership is based outside the United States, ASIL Abroad was formed in 2022 to strengthen and promote ASIL's global membership. The two-day conference will consist of two parallel tracks on Human Rights, International Humanitarian Law, and International Criminal Law (Track 1) and on International Dispute Resolution and International Economic Law (Track 2).
