In keeping with the general theme of this section of ARAL II, this paper discusses language teaching and the implemetation of bilingualism in the educational system of the Philippines. Space limitations do not permit a treatment of the teaching of both pilipino and English, so the focus is on the latter for the first part of this discussion.
